Monday Report – Week 14

My sunflowers are doing as good and better than some things in my garden.

I just love sunflowers. They’re so bright and cheerful.

I like them almost as much as daisies.

But if you think about it, they are similar to a daisy in structure. Just bigger and the petals are yellow.

If I grow a garden, I must have sunflowers.

The insects of the garden enjoy them all summer. And the birds feast on the seeds in the winter.

When I walk to the garden, the bright yellow of the sunflowers are the first thing I see. Even if they are in the back of the garden.

And they always bring a smile to my face.
