The holidays bring such happiness as friends and family come together to enjoy eachother’s company.
Lots of work goes into the planning of these yearly events.
From the cleaning, shopping, traveling and the food.
Some of us take the whole meal on, doing all the planning, shopping and cooking.
Some of us plan a potluck, in which each visitor contributes a favorite dish.
Some work side by side in one kitchen, not only making the meal, but making memories as they work.
There are those who go out to a favorite restaurant, opting to spend less time in the kitchen and more time enjoying the company of those we love.
It’s about the time spent with our loved ones and the memories of those no longer with us.
Mostly, Thanksgiving is just that. A special day each year, set aside to be thankful for the things that mean the most to us.
I could type a list of all the things I’m thankful for, but I won’t. I’m sure most (or all) of those things are also on your list of things to be thankful for.
No matter how you celebrate, the team here at Twisted Fencepost just want to say…
