I’m starting a new series this week.
Saucy Sunday
Sundays will be reserved for anything to do with food or food preparation.
You can visit some of my other food related posts by clicking the “Cupboard Creations and Ideas” in my catagory index on the left sidebar.
Here’s my first official Saucy Sunday Post.
Have ya’ll seen these?
While I like to prepare fresh homemade meals for my family, I am forced into the realization that it is not always possible.
The kit includes everything you need to make 4 sandwiches. Bread, meat, cheese and onions.
My Father-in-law discovered these while in the mid-west and introduced them to us.
We found them at Walmartz, in the frozen foods case. They are delicious. Even Boo likes them, without the onions, though.
Just buy them and throw them in the freezer. Next time your short on time, you’ve got it covered. They are not as expensive as you would think. And are relatively simple to throw together quickly.
May not be the healthiest and as tasty as a homemade meal. But it’s better than eating at a greasy fast food joint.
Try ’em out!
And let me know how you liked them!!
Becky these look worth a try. Even now with all my kids grown there are so many times that I have grandkids after work that this might come in handy. Who knows! Thanks and I think it is a great idea to make Sunday a day to talk food. I look forward to it.
Looks really good, combine that with a small side salad, and an apple and you have a quick luncheon.
Oh yum. It can’t be homemade all the time, this sounds delicious.
Since I haven’t eaten today your post has made me hungry……… hum, now what am I going to eat?
Becky-I don’t always have time to cook a full meal-or am to worn out to some days. I like to have quickie meals on hand-I’m going to check out these!
This is torture!! We don’t even have Walmart or half the stores you have:( We have similar things in our freezer sections though and I have to admit I always have something from there in my freezer for those work nights when it is just all too hard!!
Becky: Sounds like a good tip and you also made a quick post from them.
Sundays are my food days too. I’m way too lazy after work through the week for much cooking. I will try these out as long as they don’t have green peppers in them. Green peppers freak me out. Maybe I was scared by one as a child.
